The Light Lab were delighted to contribute our specialist transport lighting case studies to Equation Lighting Design for their commissioned design manual for Network Rail, titled ‘Lighting Design in Stations’.
Our team has vast experience in the fabrication and installation of various different types of transport lighting, with the manual featuring key Light Lab projects including Penn Station NYC, Kings Cross Underground Tunnel, Viaduct Link, Leeds & Bobby Moore Bridge, Wembley.
As Equation describes, the purpose of the manual is to apply a consistent lighting methodology across various lighting types, and is now an integral part of the Network Rail design manuals library, providing “comprehensive, structured guidelines that illustrate best practice in lighting design, benchmarking against industry standards…”
