As part of the 245 Hammersmith Road redevelopment, The Light Lab was tasked with manufacturing and installing bespoke LED ceiling features, based on original concept by ID:SR Sheppard Robson.
Our specialist team contributed to the interior concepts by ID:SR; keeping to their theme of drawing on the English tradition of Arts & Crafts, ‘fused with industrial heritage’, to reflect the history of the Hammersmith neighbourhood’.
The custom features, are suspended above the main reception desk and collaborative working areas on the first floor; the custom lighting sits in an anodised black framework, creating a geometric and continuous line of light, with seamless joins, suspended from the ceiling. The lighting details are in keeping with the interior concept of using raw materials throughout the refurb, also featured in the open-grid metal ceilings; melding ‘hand-crafted furniture to create an atmosphere that is at once familial and industrial’ Sheppard Robson
