Situated in London’s Pimlico district, 11 Belgrave Road has been extensively transformed from its original 1950s office structure into a cutting-edge, sustainable commercial space. The redevelopment, spearheaded by Eric Parry Architects for Quadrum Global, expanded the building’s net lettable area to around 108,000 sq ft, incorporating contemporary amenities and green spaces. This project represents a perfect fusion of sustainability, modern design, and community-focused features, establishing a new standard for office spaces in Victoria, London.
The Light Lab fabricated and installed Glowrail LED handrail in a bespoke timber finish, based on the original lighting design from Max Fordham. Our specialist team fabricated the intricate timber curves to fit the unique shape of the central stair, leading from the reception level to the lower ground floor of the building.
While natural light filters into the reception, the Glowrail provides an additional layer of lighting, enhancing the brightness of the space and ensuring a seamless blend of contemporary design with the building’s timeless elegance, providing both functional illumination and a refined aesthetic.
