St James Quarter - Luminosity

The Light Lab fabricated and installed a stunning custom ceiling feature at the entrance to SUSHISAMBA inside St James Quarter, designed by LIGHTALLIANCE. This striking feature consists of 178 bespoke chrome finished pendants, each with integrated RGBW LED luminaires all individually DMX controlled to allow dynamic colour and pattern changes that create a visually captivating atmosphere. Each pendant is suspended from the roof structure via stainless steel rods, the majority 1m in length but increasing in a 3D pattern, curving and swooping down to highlight the SUSHISAMBA entrance.

The lighting design is further enhanced by its seamless integration with the RGBW Glowrail on the Grand Steps, ensuring that the colours and lighting effects remain cohesive throughout the space. The custom ceiling feature not only adds a unique architectural element but also contributes to an immersive, vibrant experience that flows throughout the St James Quarter.
