Printworks

Printworks is a landmark leisure destination in Manchester, with 20+ bars, restaurants and leisure activities including one of the largest IMAX screens in Europe.
The refurbishment, completed in 2024, was driven by the need to modernize and adapt to changing visitor expectations, marking a new era for this iconic leisure venue and former printing house.
Focusing heavily on integrating cutting-edge digital technology, including the installation of the largest digital ceiling in Europe by ADI, spanning 1,000 square meters.
The overall refurbishment was designed by Glasgow based architects CDA, who commissioned The Light Lab specialist team to fabricate and install custom LED panels & illuminated signage to several areas across the interior and external façade of the building.
